Through training, teamwork, and constant review and refinement of all internal quality standards we shall continually pursue the level of excellence required to achieve the ever-rising standards of quality and value needed to provide customer satisfaction.
Certifications and Approvals
Independent third-party certification of our quality management systems requires a program that provides for continuous improvement, emphasizing defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste throughout the organization. All Hitchiner divisions are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction beginning with conformance to quality requirements, and continuing with reduction of variation and waste to benefit the final customer.
Our quality efforts were acknowledged or recognized when industry standards certifications were awarded to the US Ferrous Operations (ISO9001, IATF16949 & ISO9001/AS9100), to the Mexican Operations (ISO9001 & IATF16949), to the Gas Turbine Operations (ISO9001/AS9100), to the Single Crystal and Master Melt Operations (ISO9001/AS9100) and to the warehouse (ISO9001/AS9100 & IATF16949). The US Ferrous and Mexico Operations originally received QS9000 certification in 1998.
In addition to film and digital radiography, fluorescent penetrant, grain etch, heat treat, welding, and passivation, Hitchiner is NADCAP accredited for Chemical testing using OES and Combustion methods, Room and Elevated Temperature Tensile testing including machining, Elevated Temperature Stress Rupture testing, Rockwell B&C Hardness testing, Metallography and Laboratory Heat Treatment of test materials.
